CM tells officials in Nashik to resolve industry issues on time at SME Manufacturers & Exporters Summit – Nashik Organised by SME Chamber of India and Maharashtra Industry Development Summit

Nashik: Assuring of state government’s commitment to provide the best infrastructure to the industries, chief minister Eknath Shinde has directed Nashik collector and other local authorities to sit with the industrialists and resolve their problems in a time-bound manner.

The pre-recorded message of the CM was aired at the SME Manufacturers and Exporters’ Summit held in Nashik on Saturday. The programme was jointly organised by SME Chamber of India and Maharashtra Industry Development Association. In his address, Shinde said the state government is committed to ensure that the issues faced by the entrepreneurs are addressed at the earliest.

“We have asked the local authorities to take up the issues related to the condition of roads, water and effluent treatment and other matters related to industrial infrastructure in Nashik. The collector-led body, which will have officials from other departments as well, will be formed to expedite the redressal mechanism,” the CM said.

Founder/president of SME Chamber of India Chandrakant Salunkhe; Kong Xianhua Chinese counsel general in Mumbai; Michael Brown, deputy counsel general at the Australian consulate in Mumbai; general manager of SBI Bank Mary Sagaya, chairman of Western India Regional Council Sriram Mahankaliwar; deputy CEO of SME Dipti Patil and representative entrepreneurs of banks were present.

The process of allotment of plots to entrepreneurs to set up industries is being expedited and the government has taken measures to develop infrastructure, Shinde added. The state government is also continuously in touch with the Centre to promote the projects like logistics park, exhibition centres, electrical hubs, industrial parks and others, he said.
